Jack Tammarat, guitar idol winner in London

March 15, 2010

A few months old news, but hey, it´s still worth mentioning.

Jack Tammarat, a Thai guitar player flew over to London to compete in Guitar Idol 2009, and he won. Congrats!

I stumbled upon this dude by accident on youtube, when i saw the live clip  from OVERTONE @ RCA, Bangkok. I thought it sounded really good, and realized he had sent this in as an entry track for the guitar idol competition. Was never into those competitions per se, but this time, it actually caught my attention. He sounded good. He still have things to work on, but his most famous song, “On the way”, sounds very professional indeed.

Buzzcocks coming to Bangkok

November 26, 2009

Not sure wether or not the punk rock scene is really that big over here, but nevertheless, Buzzcocks are coming to Bangkok. They are playing at the Club Culture on Saturday. Entrance 800 THB at the door (including a drink).

I have honestly never heard of them, but  i must admit i am not a huge punk rock fan, but i do think the Sex Pistols were kinda cool.

Anyway, be there! (or hmmm, don´t be there.)
